Who are we?
The Friends of the Evergreen Library are library advocates. We are committed to supporting and supplementing needed library resources. Friends promote the importance of library services in our communities and raise funds to achieve library goals.
Contributions to and purchases from Friends of the Evergreen Library have allowed us to contribute almost $7,000.00 to the Evergreen Library Branch in 2008. This money has been used to purchase a Wii System, wireless announcing system, for various reading programs, to purchase books and magazines and for the P&T Puppet Theater.
How can you help?
Share your ideas, time and talent to enrich library services in these valuable ways:
Provide more books, CDs and magazines for our community.
Encourage children to make reading and using the library an essential part of their lives.
Help to enhance technological resources in the branch library.
Volunteer to assist us with book sales, events and other activities.
